3 equal rectangles → 48 cm²

1 equal rectangle → 48 ÷ 3 = 16 cm²

we can accurately assume that

length → 8cm breadth → area ÷ length = 16 ÷ 8 = 2 cm

double check if length and breadth is correct

area of 1 rectangle → length x breadth = 8 x 2 = 16 cm² ✅

area of shaded triangle → 1/2 x base x height = 1/2 x 8 x 2 = 8 cm²
